Policies & Payments

  • Yes — your first consultation is complimentary. It’s an opportunity to learn more about your trip goals and see which of our services is the best fit for your needs. After that, paid planning begins depending on the service selected.

  • Payment is due at the time of booking your selected service. Planning will not begin until the invoice is paid.

  • Absolutely. If you begin with a smaller service like The Hotel Edit and decide to move into full itinerary planning, we’ll apply your original payment toward the upgraded package.

  • Because custom travel planning involves significant time, research, and availability, service fees are non-refundable once work has begun.

    However, if your plans are postponed or significantly changed (rather than canceled), a partial credit toward future services may be extended at our discretion. This allows us to honor the work already completed while offering flexibility for future travel.

  • Not for our Book for Perks hotel-only service — that’s always complimentary, with no rush fees applied.✨

    However, for our more involved planning services, a rush fee may apply if your request is received too close to your departure date. This ensures we can maintain the quality, care, and attention your trip deserves — even on a compressed timeline.

    Here’s when rush fees may apply:

  • Complimentary hotel bookings through Book for Perks are never subject to rush fees.

    Rush fees for the following typically start at:

    • $75 for The Hotel Edit

    • $100 for Signature Guide

    • $150 for Signature Travel Design

    Final pricing depends on how soon your trip is, how complex your plans are, and the level of service you’ve selected. You’ll always be informed of any rush fees upfront — no surprise charges.

  • Yes! In most cases, your hotel loyalty number (like Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, World of Hyatt, etc.) can be added to your reservation when we book for you. That means you can still earn points and enjoy your elite status benefitson top of the exclusive VIP perks we provide through our partnerships.

    Unlike third-party booking sites, which often block point accrual and elite benefits, our bookings are made directly with the hotel and treated as preferred reservations. You get the best of both worlds: status recognition, rewards, and elevated treatment.

    Our priority is curating hotels that align beautifully with your preferences, travel style, and experience goals.

  • The earlier, the better — especially for peak seasons, bucket-list destinations, or full-service planning. Ideally, we recommend:


    3–6+ months in advance for custom itineraries
    1–3 months for hotel bookings or destination guides
    But don’t worry — if your timeline is shorter, reach out anyway. We may still be able to assist depending on availability!
